11770
I'm not able to install any script mods, only texture mods... I've got this error: Error [content0]game\gameplay\focus\focus.ws(207): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\gameplay\focus\focus.ws(267): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\gui\menus\gwintgamemenu.ws(107): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\vehicles\horseriding.ws(49): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\vehicles\sailing.ws(56): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\playerdialogstate.ws(48): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\aimthrow.ws(42): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\combat.ws(124): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\exploration.ws(55): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Error [content0]game\player\states\swimming.ws(252): Function 'LogWithName' does not take 1 param(s)Warning [content0]engine\telemetrykeyword.ws(9): Native function 'Log' was not exported from class 'CR4TelemetryScriptProxy' in C++ code.Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code. it throws this error even trying to use the custom localization fix, so i don't know what to do, i'm using the gog version 1.22, all dlc installed
Mistermew
Did you install the mods manually, or through NMM? If manually, did you extract directly to the games folder or into a Mod folder? What mod are you trying to install? Edited July 8, 2016 by Mistermew
11770
i installed them manually as i seen a post saying nexus messes up witcher mods, all are in the witcher 3 wild hunt/Mods/ directory, the mods i'm trying to install that cause this crash are pretty much any script mods it seems but the ones i want installed are: extra weight 420*fair trade*lower armor set bonus*and the custom localization fix from the faq**these ones cause the error the ones that dont cause a crash on startup areunrestricted crafting v 3bhairworks hair for geralt and monsters(seperate mods)e3 textured geralt and weaponsmore oil chargesnatural colors for ciriand curvy triss mod (the bin folder was merged with my own, still causes that message, if i remove just the mod script its fine even with the bin folder merged) Edited July 8, 2016 by 11770
Mistermew
That type of error is normally caused by mods that were not updated for the current version of the game (1.22 at the moment). I tried checking the mods but- I cannot find extra weight 420 or lower armor set bonus; The original fair trade mod was taken down, but FairTrade2.0 is updated for 1.22;Be sure you're using the most up to date version of Custom Localization Fix. One way to check if youre trying to use out of date mods is to1. Create a folder in your Mods folder,2. Name it mod000_0TelemetryKeyword3. Unpack this RAR into the folder you just created and try to launch the game. [[please note this only applies to v1.22; The above 'check' method may not work in fututre versions unless you have the up-to-date files]] Edited July 9, 2016 by Mistermew
11770
the weight mod is here:http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1606/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fwitcher3%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1606&pUp=1and the lower set bonus is here:http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1590/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fwitcher3%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1590&pUp=1 also yes that mod, whatever it does didnt trigger the cd project red script loader so the game launched. also i noticed, none of the other script mods i have use the content0 folder like the one you gave me, i added a content0 folder to one of the ones that wasn't working, and boom it started but i don't think the mod took effect. while on the other hand making the one you gave me like the ones i have, (removing the content0 folder from the equation, didnt effect it) Edited July 9, 2016 by 11770
Mistermew
The content0 folder has some main files in it. The mod I had you put it basically makes outdated mods not run, letting the game launch. Actual mods are usually just in content. Did you use what I gave you with the other mods still in the mod folder? If so, were the mods still not working? Sorry, its difficult to troubleshoot something I cant see. Usually, the "mod" I had you install would fix the issue and run the mods. You are updated to 1.22, correct? 11770
ah, yes i am updated to 1.22, also i didnt know thats what that mod did or i would have placed the broken ones in the right folder, i had removed them to play the game. Edit: the same error occurs with that mod installed and gave the same crash message Edit2:i just thought of this but, could installing things in the wrong order break things, i hadnt played in a long time so i had 1.10 installed then i installed the 1.22 patch then i installed the dlc's HoS BnW then the 16 free ones.
