dorsman
So I just got this game for PC and I downloaded some mods. Let use the detailed faces mod for example. So the only install instruction is to "move the data folder into your skyrim directory." So when I saw this I noticed that the game already has a data folder in the directory so obviously moving the data folder from the mod into that area will prompt a message asking if I want to replace that folder. When I saw this I thought well I dont want to replace something I shouldnt so I just went into the mod data folder and grabbed the contents out of it and then dragged it into the corresponding area so data-textures-male/female or whatever it was. Is this ok? I did this for multiple mods including graphic enhancements. Was I just supposed to say overwrite the data folder and it would have done this for me? Thanks in advance. Smosh
Yes, you can just overwrite the data folder although that is just the same as manually putting the texture folder inside the Data folder.
