Trouble Signing Up My Teenage Son For Site

My son is 15 years old and has been modding Morrowind and other games for many years. He is now really interested in making and releasing mods for Skyrim.

 

When he was young, I released his mods, giving him credit in the readmes. But now that he is 15, I feel he should be able to have his own modder name and identiy.

 

But whenever I do the sign up page, it just bounces back to the first page when I try to submit it.

 

What is the problem?

As for your problem: I have no idea. It's been a very long time since I signed up to the site and I've never shared an IP address with another member. I find it doubtful but could it the one person per rule? As if the site recognizes you're already signed in and won't let you make the mistake of making a new account and risking them both. It's doubtful though as far as I know the PtB here need to make the call on a shared account violation personally so it can't be an automated function.

Actively select "Sign Out", then flush your cache (delete cookies) so that the Nexus doesn't recognize you when you go back to the site to initiate the new registration process.

We got sidetracked, so did not follow up on this for a while (MMO festivals LOL).

 

I was able to sign my son up, but it seems hung up on the email verification part. Nothing was sent.
