Sporktology
Hey! So I have a FO3 mod called hallout 3. It's a halo conversion mod. I like the armors and I want them in New Vegas. I ported the meshes and textures over into the proper folders and opened up the GECK. I Made a new armor, edited the stats and everything, and then chose the mesh of the armor. So far so good. Then, when looking for the textures, I couldn't figure out how to make it to where the armor would use the textures. From there everything just spiraled out of control. Please give me some help on this, literally driving me insane.
dubiousintent
Maybe try looking at the thread just before yours, titled "Help making a new armor"? Specifically post #5, and then remember that you have to use "relative" paths. If you are having trouble with them, see "Cause 2" under "Strange Symbols" of the "Troubleshooting" page on TESTG. Otherwise, try to be a little more precise as to just what has "spiraled out of control". Often describing the problem in detail, or the exact steps you took, makes the cause obvious in hindsight. -Dubious- Edited July 9, 2016 by dubiousintent
RoyBatterian
textures are in the BSShaderTextureSet node(s) in nifskope under each NiTriStrips node, the path is relative to the Data folder. Expand the node tree until you see what you're looking for.
