xandorz
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. I added some mods for textures (sky, pony, better looking characters, better looking dark brotherhood set). These worked good. Also tried adding Spider Man execution hood and change respawn timers. These 2 wont work, why? I put spiderman texture at: (same as the archives folder structure is)Data/textures/clothes/executionhood/ And respawn mod at:Data/skyrimespawn.esp I tried enabling respawn in data files, but it didnt help. Any ideas what the problem is? Sad that not all mods work (bad when more get released, and really want the respawn), and there is noone saying the mods doesnt work where they are posted. The 2 mods i cant get to work:http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=89http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=

MShoap13
Sounds like Windows UAC to me. Are you running Vista/7 and is your \Steam\ directory (and therefore the game) located under \Program Files or \Program Files (x86)? If so Windows UAC could be the issue, though I haven't heard of any confirmed cases of UAC problems yet so you guys could be the first. The best course of action to rule out Windows UAC is to move Steam to a folder UAC doesn't affect (C:\Games\ is a common location). You may or may not have to reinstall Skyrim as well due to left behind registry entries. Once the Creation Kit and other utilities (Skyrim Mod Manager, etc.) start coming out, the old registry entries pointing to the old location could potentially come back to haunt you as they'll point said utilities to the wrong directory.
