Hey everyone, was thinking of a great rp-ish mod. would like to make it so you can take their default equipped gear and not have to use the top 2 pickpocketing perks to even be able to get them, which you can't for most of them anyways, even with highest pickpocketing and all perked out in pickpocketing.

 

I would like to be able to have a mod where I can take everything off my follower and not have them revert to their default armor when i take their stuff off. that way i can dress them up in other clothes. like my wife for example or my housecarl, and not have them clunking around the house in armor. catch my drift?

 

If you type in coc qasmoke in console, it takes you to the room bethesda included that contains every item in the game. I want to be able to dress up my housecarl with the tavern clothes from there and something nice cloth-wise for my wife, but I can't since they both have metal default armor on. I was able to pickpocket all their default gear off besides their armor pants/tops. Tavern clothes is probably the sexiest female suit in the game, and none of them can wear it cause I can't get their suits off no matter what.

 

And btw, does anyone know if I can alter a file or a value to make it so I can pickpocket it off them or just have it show when we are in trading gear mode so I can pluck it off?

Solution. Use the showinventory command on them. Then find the id for the item in question. Use the removeitem command. And it will be gone from their inventory. There is your answer. I know we don't like to use commands. (Some of us.) But til the creation kit is released this should do the trick for ya.

Have you been able to use this command to remove an item from your follower's inventory? I don't see the showinventory command online...and when i type in showinventory, it doesn't work. i tried showinventory, follower.showinventory, target.showinventory. I also tried the traditional clicking my follower to acquire a target then typing it in. no worki.... removeallitems did not seem to work either Edited November 19, 2011 by zbzikowany
