katoth Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 Running: Intel Core i3 (4 cores at 3.20GHz) 5.87 GB RAM (available) Win 7 Home Premium 64bit ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB NOTE: All drivers are up to date as can be. with settings ticked to: High Aspect Ratio: 16x9 Widescreen Resolution: 1600x900 Antialiasing: off Anisotropic Fitering: off Texture Quality: High Radial Blur: Medium Shadow Detail: Low Decal Quality: High FXAA: CheckedWater: All Unchecked When I started playing the game was so choppy. In fact so much so I couldnt hardly play it! I improved FPS by doing a few .ini tweeks like disable mouse smothing and vsync shown here http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/11/11/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweaks-improve-graphics-disable-vsync-change-fov-and-more/ I used the Large Address Aware patch. I also set the processing priority to High I also intalled these modes here which seemed to help a little in viual quality without changing or decreasing the FPS.
