Ideas for gameplay/immersion enhancing mods

First off, I am no modder. But I want to collect my ideas I get while playing the game to see if someone finds them interesting enough to pick them up. Of course, anyone else's ideas are welcome. But I'd like this thread to be focused on gameplay and immersion/realism enhancing mods, no better visuals, new quests etc.

 

1) A new model for skinned animals? Seems strange a gutted and skinned deer lies peacuflly in the golden grass like it was sleeping.

 

2) A carriage in minor towns, like the ones only available in front of the 8 capitals.

 

3) Weapons should be smeltable like ore. Since this would make smithing much easier, skill progression would need rebalancing. Maybe too big a scope for a minor mod.

 

4) Ingredients seem to grow back every time one re-enters the cell, this seems very awkward and unrewarding. Maybe introduce respawn rates like for mobs and enemies.

 

5) Animal behaviour: like one mod adressed in oblivion, wolfes should be wise enough to avoid a lvl 25 character who one-hits them.

 

6) Sneak kills should be more stealthy. It is stupid imo that you can sneak kill only one enemy while the rest of them starts ganging up on you. Sneak kill is sneak kill, no one should hear it, right? It's hard enough to pull off and the most important feat of a thief/assassin since he most probably sucks in direct combat.

 

I'll add more ideas when I get them. If some thread like this already exists, my ideas are stupid or there are already mods in progress which cover all that, please tell me to STFU, I don't want to annoy anybody, just share thoughts ;)
