Dragon Smith Mod

I wanted to have Dragon Armor, but I don't want to spend all my perks in Armor. Maybe there is someone in the world I haven't found that will craft normal level Dragon Armor for me, but I would love a Mod where you do quests for some dude who is trying to learn how to use the Dragon Bone and Dragon Skin. I would love to help in the creation of it. I just have no practical knowledge in development. I can create levels/dungeons/houses but the code behind it is lost on me.

Something as simple as creating a quest line to go find a hammer or something lost in such and such ruin that will allow the crafting of Dragon equipment.

If any experienced modders would be willing to help me I would gladly take the project on myself. PM if you would be interested and I will start working up a quest/level idea's. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing! I don't mind having to be a smith.. but I too don't want to waste a lot of time doing it or more important than my time!!! MY PERKS!!

Remove the prerequisites for smithing perks.. and move the dragon armor down a little lower than 100.

I would like to try to make smithing and enchanting a "Secondary" skill.

They don't contribute to the players level, (Or at least significantly less than normal skills.)

Smith/Enchating perks are awarded for reaching certain levels of smithing.

Could also put in a function for blacksmiths to be hired to forge high quality armors if you provide the material and a decent amount of gold. (i.e Dragon, Deadric, Ebony, Glass, Elven)

This should help balance the game by preventing level ups (Causing enemies to get harder) when the majority of your level was invested in a skill that only sort inceases your defense slightly due to upgrading. Maybe put in level requirements to the items to help keep things balanced so you can't grind up to dragon armor when your only level 10 or such.

Dont forget Alchemy.

This would require a rebalance or restructuring of the perks, because they do provide a benefit for the player as they are. Level 57 smithing can add something of 30 damage to a weapon and defence to armor, so I dont see it as completely innocuous. Same applies to enchanting and alchemy.
