rosvitacousland
I am using gmax for 3d modelling (I am just at the beginning). This programme - gmax - hasn't got the fitting file format for Dragon Age. So an import-export script is needed. There is such an import-export script here on Nexus made by Eshme. This script needs as a third-part programme YAGG, which is part of the zipped archive of Eshme here on Nexus. First time I've installed YAGG successfully (and gmax). A little later I got the message, that YAGG couldn't work any longer without the "hook.dll file", but a new installation of YAGG could fix it. So I made a new installation of YAGG. But a little later my anti-virus programme reported two problems: hook.dll file in YAGG and hook.dll file in gmax. So I put both of the hook.dll files in quarantine. A while later I decided to install YAGG again, but this time even the installation failed at its very beginning. Now I am sad about this, because I made great effort to make me familiar with gmax (I even started to write another step-by-step instruction about how to make a model). However without the YAGG programme I can't export anything, which means that I cannot texture my models not to mention bringing them into the game...
