plainodd
I'm not sure if this idea is taken already but I am doing it anyway. If you know your way around the CS you may be thinking..."Now I know what to do!" "I'm gonna make a mod 999 miles long!" First of all, if you dont even know how to make a item appear on screen, and keep saying your going to do it..... KEEP DREAMING! So, The to start click "File" wait for it to load and check the master file off, and set it as active and click "Ok". Now, the once blank windows that come up when you start will now be filled with text, you'll see that they're places in the game. I chose the Imperial City Market District, considering it's my favorite place in game. You don't have to choose this area but it's where im starting. Click on it and wait for it to appear in the small window, (If it says "Not Responding" wait a lil' bit and it'll come up just let it load) now were going to start with nothing that hard, just making a un-accsessible building. This may seem useless but once you get used to making walls and getting things level everything will be easy. If you now how to move around the CS in cell view skip this and read ahead if you don't read on. To move the camera around use the mouse wheel to zoom in out/ fowardback To move around the camera hold shirt and move the mouse around the screen, Moveleftright hold mouse wheel down and move cursor left and right to go said direction. Now, choose a location you want to build at (I suggest adding on to the side of a building so it doesn't interfear much. Go to your Object Window and click on "Static" take a look through what it all is, a bunch of walls colums/pillars etc. Lets focus on the walls, choose the wall that you like to use 01-X and just click and drag it onto screen. Now, this is where it gets time consuming. The piece of the wall is floating in mid air! :wallbash: To pull it down fress "F" when you have the colored lines around the floating wall, and it will then teleport to ground level. Drag it to the edge of the building and connect to it by dragging it next to it. (Making it the same type of wall will help even it out) Now your thinking now I have the click drag press "F" and drag it some more!?!!?! Nope! not at all! click on your placed wall and hit "Ctrl"+"D" it will then make a copy of its self inside of the wall, it's not stuck in there! Just click and drag it out and the connect it too the next wall until you have yoru wanted length. Now click on your wanted corner for the building.(Match it with the normal wall). Yes, you have to click drag and push "F" and drag it again.... but again only once. Copy this once and leave it copied inside of it for now. Go back to your normal wall and copy it a few times. Get as many as you need to fill the space until next corner. When you think you have enough stop and use the 2nd copied corner and drag it over a bit until it go's with the wall. Copy your normal wall AGAIN and drag it to connect with the corner. get as many needed to connect to the real building. Oh, and I forgot for the corners you will need to rotate them to get them right! Right click them and rotate them until they fit! Now hit file-save and name your mod, it will go straight to your data file and be open for use. Go play, turn it on and see your master piece! Now were done! :thanks: (If I left out anything or you have questions reply saying what I didn't cover and if you know what it is say what was needed please! If you have question me or other people will answer you).
