One thing I was wondering about the unreal engine. How easy is it to import 3d models, have you and bleu found it easier than working with Creation?

There is literally NOTHING in the CK that is easier so far than UE4, blender/max/maya w/e -> FBX -> Sub painter -> Direct import. (Might be some texture hookups but drag 3 textures run the lines etc done)

Giggidy.

Also someone might want to run this by some game dev companys "“Evil begins when you begin to treat people as things.” "

Wow, yeah I think I need to learn some Unreal Engine. Not that I'm giving up on modding, even with the idiosyncrasies of the CK I really enjoy working with these games. Still, Unreal Engine sounds like a lot of fun to play around with.

Wow.. making a diff player character per level with complete autonomous controls and ability's HUD everything.. is simple.

Which means 3 diff teams could be working on the same project file and making entirely different game settings/games, all the while sharing in the resources/knowledge and being able to help one another. One group could be making a fps, another a platformer, another a multiplayer skyrim type game...

Yep def building a dedicated server computer tomorrow, let's get this psychotic train rolling :)

Nice to see other modders interested in the indie development side of things. I agree completely, Unreal engine is pretty awesome, and a huge upgrade over UDK, let alone the Creation Kit. It can be pretty intimidating when first starting out, but nothing headache-inducing like trying to get the CK to do something it wasn't designed for :D

I'm not all that active on the UE forums, but I guess I'll see you over there. Given your modding work, it should be interesting to see what you do with it. Good luck!

I doubt I will ever really be on their forums, the vast majority of things can be googled and tutorial video after tutorial video exist so weeeeee :)
