What can I do to fix it?
bill8872
I did almost the exact same thing over the weekend. Unless you have a way to recover the correct files you removed, your only option is to reinstall the game. In my case I removed the wrong mesh's for females body's, and nothing short of a reinstall of the game restored them correctly.Revalidating the game files through Steam might work, but it didn't for me. 8 hours reinstalling all my mods :( as the way I did it broke everyone of them. Do not use the remove, uninstall all option. :( that restored everyone to vanilla, and removed masters for mods that needed others to work, and NMM refused to recognize my mods. While installing/reinstalling the game, and mods may suck, in my case it was a good thing. I had 40+ non-function, out of date mods.
falloutsunshine
How can I see what files I need? That is horrible! Did you have to play everything over again?!
bill8872
In my case I use custom player, and installed a full body tattoo through NMM. I moved everything into custom player's folder, then instead of uninstalling the mod through NMM I just deleted everything from the standard folder. I also like a dummy emptied the recycle bin before releasing what I did would screw up every female body in the game. I even tried reinstalling CBBE to get the body mesh's back, but did not work. I had no idea what files were correct until the reinstall was completed, and what CBBE added. Yes I will have to start over, but it will not be a bad thing. After reinstalling all my mods I could find on Nexus's mod page, and not out of date, or not working, as I also checked to see when last updated, and no complaints about no longer working. I went from almost 230 mods, down to 180 or so, I will be better off with not using mods the do not work any longer.

Sharlikran
To restore a settlement menu that went away because of uninstalling or deactivating mods, use the Universal Menu Fixer. It's in the files section and you can always ask the author if you need more info.
