Cat32542
I'll keep it as detailed, but short as I can. I've recently decided to play Fallout: New Vegas again, but I've been trying to get some body mods to work. I researched on what some of the better mods are, but I kept coming up on "T6" "T6M" "T3" and "other mods" but my main issue is that I'm not familiar with any of the mods. I really got into Nexusmods about a year ago for Skyrim, and that's about all I know. Originally, I decided to try T6M, but a lot of it is confusing for me. How would I install T6M, and this "archieveinvalidation"? I prefer using NMM (I know I'll catch flak for this), but I'm alright with manually installing files. sykoholic001
Manually: Step1> Open the T6M 7z file with WinRar. Step 2> Open the "Core File" folder.Step 3> Drag and drop the folder named "data" into your game's main folder (if using Steam "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas") Step4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 with the "For New Vegas plugin" folder and the "Nude Body Option" folder (open each and drag/drop the "data" folder into your game folder) This will overwrite/replace the base "vanilla" body mesh and texture with the T6M body. Doing this however will result in clipping in much of the armor/clothing in the game. The "vanilla" armor/clothing meshes are designed to fit on the "vanilla" body mesh. Since the T6M body mesh has different "proportions", the vanilla armor/clothing won't fit it correctly and as a result, parts of the body (typically the breasts and hips) will poke through and be visible. The only way to fix this is to replace the vanilla armor/clothing with ones designed to fit the T6M body... available here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45505/? Hope that helps.
