madkittenz
After doing the 2 quests in Markarth named "Forsworn conspiracy" and "No one escapes cidhna mine" I can't pay off my crimes in Markarth anymore. I killed some thalmors in the region after I did the two quests, and when the guards talked to me the conversation lines where the same as when they captured you during the "Forsworn conspiracy" quest, where you get set up and sent to jail. The conversation goes on in a circle as long as I don't choose to resist arrest, which of course makes them attack me. Anyone who has come across the same bug and/or has a solution to my problem? Wasn't in the region for some time after, and now when I discovered this I have played about 20 hours that I would "lose" if I load so I haven't done any of the quests, so loading an old save is kinda not an option. I tried to reset my crime bounty in reach by typing player.setcrimegold 0 in the console, doesn't work though.

TheDourDwarf
Yea I feel you Mad, I just posted the same bug yesterday. Still haven't been able to resolve it either. Same circumstances.
shadow56
The setcrimegold 0 console command does not work in Skyrim. I have had the same problem. I just pay off the fine and that gets rid of the bounty.

Pipzuk
another thread on here explains this one (sorry to the original poster as I can't find it right now!)"PayCrimeGold" works fine outside the City - fast travel to the stables and you'll be accosted by a guard, enter console, click on the guard and enter the paycrimegold command and all should be well. Brad1959
Another solution (the one that worked for me anyway) is to type "setstage MS01GuardAmbushQuest 100" into the console. This completes the separate, unmarked quest which orders the guards to arrest the player at the end of the Forsworn Conspiracy quest. For me, this separate quest had not been marked as complete, and thus the guards kept trying to arrest me whenever I talked to them. Hopes this helps anyone else who's had this glitch.
