Smarter Training limit

First off, english isn't my first language so sry for the bad/weird choice of words.

I see the point of a training/level limit because i played Morrowind and once i had enought money my characters strenght skyrocketed to insane hights but i don't like the system in Skyrim either.

Would it be possible to make a mod, that sets the number of total training sessions to lvl*5 but doesn't reset the number of training sessions already used on lvlup? Or if that was easier, how about a mod that would add the training sessions you didn't use before lvlup to the total training sessions available for the new level? So for example i didn't train at all on lvl 1 and 2 because money is scarce. On lvl 3 i dicide i could spend a little money and train 4 times. After that i would be at 4/15. With the 1st approach i would be at 4/20 when i lvlup and with the 2nd approach i would be at 0/16.

The reason behind this is that i really want to use as many training sessions as possible to speed up character advancement. The Problem with that is that in the beginning you don't have much gold and have to go out of the way you would normally play the game to gather money without leveling skills and leveling up (and for immersion i don't want to use the train -> pickpocket money back -> train -> pickpocket money back approach, i did this and it was annoying). Later it's also annoying that you theoretically have to go to a trainer after each lvlup if you don't want to risk wasting training sessions.

I hope this is doable.

Oh so extremely agreed!

Apart from some textures in the game being Morrowind-quality, this was the first thing I wanted. The topic poster said it just right. You want to use all possible train sessions, but to do so, you have to play the game in an odd manner, and leveling up happens so fast. I have about 65 sessions that were missed out on because of having 3 or 4 level-ups ready to go. At least in Oblivion you could level up one level at a time. Skyrim forces you to just do them all at once.

The slower leveling mod would sort of help this in a way, but I seem more akin to this approach. Both in combination might work nicely, too.

Another guy posted a topic about having it so minor skills like smithing and enchanting wouldn't add towards leveling up your character. I liked that idea as well. Kind of like on Oblivion or Morrowind where you could level up your character by running and jumping. Speaking of which, why no athletic/acrobatic skill in this game? No matter how hard you train, you can never run faster or jump higher? That's like if Michael Jordan trained and trained and trained, but could never dunk from the free throw line lol. Or Spudd Webb, the 5'4" guy who could dunk. To me the leveling/perk system feels a little simplified and console-ish. I liked Morrowind and Oblivion and System Shock and Deus Ex. They felt very PC RPG. But anyway, getting off topic.

This is something that should have a look at!

Bump. Someone please make this mod... I have had the same idea since I started playing Skyrim. It just kills half the fun to 1) try and not forget how many times you have already trained and 2) NOT to advance your skills too fast so as not to get two or more level ups at once.
