armorsmith extended causing missing texture

For some reason, armorsmith extended is causing missing texture errors.

I dont have a clue why, but some things work, while others don't. For example I can wear my raider right arm, helmet, or general uniform without a problem, but everything else when put on is invisible and cause this error symbol.

Any idea why this is happening?

Also, isn't the uniform considered clothing, so it should be able to be worn with armor, correct? Since I can't do that either

That's actually a missing model/mesh, most likely caused by a broken file path - means the game is looking in the wrong place for whatever is being referenced. If the textures were missing, the model itself would show up, it'd just be pink/purple.

To troubleshoot this, you'll want to use FO4Edit to check the file path for whatever item is showing up as that error symbol. Compare that to your FO4 Data folder - try to follow the path FO4Edit shows (usually Data>Meshes>Armor or something similar), that'll at least let you know where it broke. Change the FO4Edit file path to match what's in your Data folder and you -should- stop seeing that.

Also, take a look at your plugins tab in NMM, see if any of the .esm or .esp files are flagged with red or orange text - that's an indicator of a missing master file for that .esm/.esp. If there's another mod missing, find it and install/activate it. That alone may fix your problem.

I think I'm starting to figure this out a little. The right side has the fo4edit list, half are green/yellow or red, the rest are white. The left is obviously the game files. Do I want to make all the red files one of the other 2 colors or all of them white? And how do I change the destinations... I came her to fix a mod, not make one lol.

I would not mess with the mod it in FO4Edit. You might break the mod if you do.

The mesh's Armorsmith Extended add's did not install correctly. uninstall it, and reinstall it. Most of the armor/clothing uses the vanilla game assets, but I do believe it adds/ changes many assets, but a lot also need the mesh, and or textures from other mods to show correctly.
