No console command

I have tried everything already and still no luck. The console command just doesn't work me. The ` brings up the console in every fallout and elder scroll game but in Fallout 4, for some reason it just pauses the screen with no console bar appearing in the bottom. I was in survivor but ever since 1.5 i have moved back to very hard mode.

I have tried everything listed below and still no luck.

1. putting bAllowConsole=1 in both fallout.ini folders.

2. putting -console on the launch option.

3. making sure my keyboard is set to U.S in the control panel.

4. even downloading different console enabler mod from the nexus.

Pressing ` does indeed pauses the screen just like in the past Bethesda games but the problem is it won't allow me to type anything. At first i thought maybe whatever i typed is invisible but it turns out thats not true as nothing i type works.

Nothing works.

I already tried out every possible console enabler mod from the nexus and still nothing works. I assume the mod from your link is one of the nexus mods. I have searched for hours upon hours online for a solution but to no avail. It seems nobody else has my problem.

Thanks for helping anyway.

You assume wrong hun, that's mine and I do not upload these mods and I do not use others work as my own.

you are offered an opportunity and not an assumption.

I am not like other people here. I make only my own stuff, I do verify things others make though but most were made before the CK was introduced publicly so those are care not to mess with.

so no, it's not posted on any nexus mod pages or any other web site, it sits in my signature because I thought you needed IT.

I made it for you.

Too many here assume way too much.

Gotta love those who ask for help with their head wedged firmly up their bum

it's all good, I look at it as if there was some sort of wind, it passed by, converted to text, passed by, melted away into wind again.

I can't hold it to their heads.

you can lead a horse to the water, you can't make them drink it.

other come along and see the wind passed. A brief moment in time, they analyze the filters, see things that can be used and just move in silence.

When these types run into trouble, they remember the wind, how badly it smelt. the results, and I get hit in the PM or mail hard.

" I want-I want-I really really want ! ..", and I give it.

Judge not less you be judged.

Who am I to judge, too much of that crap already going on here. I some how don't think the PC's care, the software ? has no mind.

it's the people at the controls that have the issues with the PC's and else.

Sorry about the late response, but I ran across this same problem when I switched to a new computer (Windows 10). I found this link that resolved my problem https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/47509/skyrim-command-console-does-not-appear . In particular the answer from Dilon Brii

Go to your skyrim data folder, wherever you have placed it, such as /the elder scrolls v skyrim - legendary edition/data and look for interface and if you see anything that says console_alias or console which are .symlink files, move them out of that folder. I didn't want to delete them in case they were crucial files so I simply made a new folder on the desktop and moved them to that folder and out of the skyrim files location altogether and started the game.

I found both the console and console_alias files in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\interface folder and deleted both of them. After I deleted them I brought FO4 up and was able to bring the console up

I tried every possible solution I could find via google but nothing worked except the above. I have no idea where these files came from, but they were definitely the issue.
