kaelling
Is it possible to make a mod that make changes to the settings in skyrim.ini while it's loaded and change the settings back to default when unloaded?
bben46
The ini can be edited using the built in Windows wordpad application. You could make a copy of the original and make the changes to the copy, You could have as many variations as you wanted. Then swap them in or out as needed. MShoap13
There's console commands to do this already. However, I can't seem to find them on Google . I know I stumbled across them last night, and I think it was on the official Bethesda forums. They mentioned that saving your game with uGridsToLoad=## set to a higher value, then closing the game and dropping that value back down via the .txt file causes CTD on character load. Then they posted a workaround that allows you to make changes to the .ini via the console.
