My friend has created an account to use nexus services but the confirmation email never arrives, because of that he can't use the forum and he can't use the mod manager. We have already looked the spam folder as well as the trash, there is nothing there. His username is LLxD11, first we used and then we tried to change to , none of them worked, we tried to create other account with other emails as well, nothing changes. We would appreciate some help.

Several things at your friend's end, most likely with the particular ISP, email service(s) and/or mail client(s) being used, might be causing a problem. Brasil has a number of... problematic providers.

With over 11 million members who have successfully registered, and almost 1.5 million of those new in the past year, it's not likely to be anything at the Nexus end. :geek:

(Also, please don't post your friend's real email addresses in public forums. Use the "Contact Us" link found at the bottom of every page for this type of correspondence.)

I see a number of posts related to the lack of email issue. I am having the same problem regarding getting a password reset email. I am neither from Brazil (US) or on a spotty ISP (Comcast). I've been a member here for years and a premium member for a year or so. I receive other emails from the site when I get a PM.

There are many other posts related to similar issues. Respectfully, I believe there may be an issue with the validation/password reset email system. It might be worth looking into.

Hello, I believe this is a larger issue than what is being suggested.

I am replying on behalf of STEP member Aeradom, who is unable to register. http://forum.step-project.com/topic/10978-anyone-else-having-trouble-with-nexus/

The email the user gets back is as follows:

We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (support) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group. A few more details on why you weren't able to post:

* You might have spelled or formatted the group name incorrectly.

* The owner of the group may have removed this group.

* You may need to join the group before receiving permission to post.

* This group may not be open to posting.

If you have questions related to this or any other Google group, visit the Help Centre at https://support.google.com/a/topic/25838.

Also, unrelated to this user's request, I have seen three different threads on Reddit in the past 24 hours with people claiming registering on Nexus is not working for them.

Something larger is going on...
