Interesting Ideas For Armors (Request)

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community and was looking arround the request forum and mod section for something similar to what i wanted but couldn't find it.

 

Basicaly, I wanted to make Fallout New Vegas a little bit more realistic, specifically in terms of the armors.

Maybe I'm crazy but games of this gender gets better if you really feel you are involved in the game so every bit of realism helps.

So the starting idea is that you can take small pieces of your defeated enemy's armors;

For Example, you approach to Camp. Mcarran from the south and find some troopers dealing with the fiends in the area so you help them to take down some of the raiders. One of them had PainSpike Armor equiped and you see that the spiked shoulderguards and spiked knee's protectors would help you with your unarmed and melee weapons performance, but you want to keep your Leather Armor because it looks better and improves your resistance to the hard environment.

It's just a theory, actually the game doesn't work this way.

Well, my request is the following; if it likes, I have some other ideas too, I'll name some later.

 

I thought about combining the original Leather Armor with the brown leather belts, shoulderplate and stuff that makes the Armored Vault Jumpsuit, "Armored"

Here's the picture of the meshes to use (Just the belts, not the blue jumpsuit)

 

 

 

Important Note: I'm just looking forward for the female version of this two armors, it's all I want for now.

 

Finally, I think the result would look awesome and doesn't need many further modifications to the brown leather belts because the leather armor and the jumpsuit are similar in terms of dimensions.

 

Any questions, advices, or more detailed information request would be welcome, there are tons of different combinations that will look really nice. Just PM me your ideas or post them right here for everyone to discuss.

 

These are the posible names and a brief description for other ideas:

 

Survivalist Leather Armor

(My first armored leather armor proyect, plus lots of diferent attachments from Raiders, Merc. Outfits & Metal Armors, etc)

 

Tesla Recon Armor

(The original Recon. Armor with additions from Enclave Tesla Armor and Remnants Tesla Armor and sparking stuff)

(Nice to make it a Crouch-Stealth Mode Armor)

 

Shadow Of The Mojave

This one could be fantastic; It's basically a Metal Armor without the metal stuff, (I've seen some meshes without the shoulderplates), so you get a sexy looking black outfit to attach all sort of things, for example Enclave Officer's black accesories.

 

 

 

Final Notes;

 

First: There's this Type3 bodies arround but I don't know if it's necesary to install them for this kind of meshes combinations, It's OK for me to use the default ones.

 

Second: If I did something wrong on this topic or missed anything just tell me and I will correct it, I'm new in the forums.

I didn't read all of your wall of text, but sounds like you're looking for something like this

Yeah, Satchels Mod was really close, i read trought the different armors added to that mod but didn't find the Armored Jumpsuit part to use them in the leather armor.
