Aluminumfoil
In Oblivion and Fallout 3, player characters would look at NPCs under the same circumstances as NPCs look at one another and the player character. For whatever reason, this functionality is gone in Skyrim. I would really like it back, if it's possible.
MelTorefas
Seconded. Really threw me off when this wasn't how Skyrim worked.
Dorbson
This has bothered me too. Watching my character stare off into space or at the wall while an NPC is giving me an important task really takes away from the immersion of the game. This needs to be one of the first mods as soon as the construction set is released.
ginnje
I'm missing this functionality a lot! Does anyone know if there is now a mod which brings this "headTracking" to Skyrim?
WatchTheShow
I was surprised by this as well! There was a really out of date MMO (Mabinogi) I used to play and all the characters had head tracking. When someone's speech bubble popped up everyone's heads moved to see it, or if someone started playing music then heads would turn to look. I was quickly let down in this game when my first conversation about the Dragon attack at Helgen was held with the wall.
buffbodsteve
This really bothers me as well, is there any way to fix this with the creation kit?
