Shantih Posted November 19, 2011 Share Posted November 19, 2011 I run the game on an almost three year old computer on medium settings and it still looks pretty good. Never had a crash or bug besides the old time classics like clipping and a few NPCs getting stuck. At first I wasn't thrilled by the game but the more I play and the more I like it. Sure it will be better with mods in the sense that it will be possible to tweak most things to make the game suit different and individual playing styles but IMO Skyrim is a fairly decent game unmodded. Probably one of the best games by Bethesda if we're not taking mods into account. That being said the UI is not PC friendly. I'm using a controller and it makes it bearable but the UI is definitely not meant to cater to PC users. There is a patch that should be released after Thanksgiving so you may want to take that into account. Also if you get it now make sure you have time to spare because it may keep you busy for a while. ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have seen a mod on the Oblivion forums that is supposed to make Oblivion look a little like Skyrim, so I can only hope that there is a mod that will change it around and make Skyrim look like Oblivion with DarN's UI installed :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
