Craw25
Hello. I really need some help before I go mad haha. So. I'm new to modding. So everything is new to me. And just when I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, I hit a huge brick wall. Huge to me, probably tiny to a pro. But anyway. I wanted to create a settlement/player home. I link up the workbench to the build area and a few other things. To find out that my items such as beds fall trough the floor, but I fixed that. I can now place a bed in game. But the issue is, it's invisible. I can place it, sit on it etc, but can't see it at all. I'm unable to find a fix or a tip. Another thing I need to find out is, what's the keyword i need to use to link a power armor workbench to my workshop workbench? Please, any help or tips anybody can give me would help me greatly. Thank you. Peace.
m0ds1984
Hmm, about the invisible items thing, I have noticed that, but only in interior locations that go DOWN. does this apply to the one you're trying to make? If you walk into a building and the structure goes up, then it works without issue. if you walk into a structure and you have to go DOWN stairs, etc, objects placed below the "initial ground level" seem to go invisible. I've not found a fix, and eventually gave up on that particular one and just stuck to buildings that go UP rather than down. but one solution may perhaps be to make sure when you enter the interior, that wherever you enter is the LOWEST part of that structure, so that you will always be forced to go upwards. So your door from the outside world to the inside world will always take you to the lowest level of your interior. my coding brain is telling me that for some reason when you leave exterior and enter interior the game is remembering where ground level is in relation, and if you go below that your workshop items are inivisible. But that's just a theory. I've also asked around but haven't found any answers, so only have this pretty crappy theory, sorry  Edited July 18, 2016 by m0ds1984
