J_R
Did anyone else have as much trouble as I did? At level 35, on Expert difficulty, the enemies kicked my arse! I don't think I've ever had to quickload that many times before. And my helpers were dying just as much! One hit by their arrows would be like half my health. Was a bit disconcerting considering I have full ebony armor and have leveled my character pretty well in regards to balancing skills. Glad it's over! zarxark
Stealth, my friend, stealth. Since at higher levels it's basically god mode, with the right build mind you.P.S. Why do you use heavy armor in a Thieves Guild? Did you forget that they are thieves not bandits?
zrkonium
I died quite a bit during this quest as well. My biggest issue was those bloody magic guys. I ended up standing back and letting the other guys kill them. But I'm playing on normal difficulty. I'm only level 19/20 (leveled during the quest), and aside from the magic guys, it wasn't too hard. Half the enemies are blind so using stealth and just sneaking up with arrows or swords made it pretty easy to get rid of them. They never actually see you, so you end up getting quite a few 2x sneak damage in on them. I hope that isn't spoilery. J_R
Yup sneak + bow = beat any enemy without ever being seen if done right. P.S. Why do you use heavy armor in a Thieves Guild? Did you forget that they are thieves not bandits? Because my character has blood lust and loves to lop heads (of true enemies) in addition to being a master thief and bowman. A nice balance between the two has been achieved, all the while using those piles of bodies to inspire the fear necessary to boost that craphole of a thieves guild back to glory.
