Oops, double post ^^

No worries, you might want not to stumble again in double posting

Battle music? Turn it off. If you have a portable mp3 player, use it instead, lolz.

No no really, turn the music off, it helps.

Second, have you set all the graphics low? (in case your vid card and processor are the minimum requirement).

Third, have any programs running in the background?

I mean... background programs: virus scanners and other programs which uses lots of memory.

4th: this is a temporary solution though. Open the console "`", and type "tlb". Toggle light bright (or something...). It brights the whole thing and makes the game run smoother, but sacrifices the graphical beauty.

I tried al things you said, nothing did seem to help.

all my video ' things' which are possible to turn off are off except for bloom lighting

music volume all of it also master footsteps, all are off (to the left )

Tlb indeed made the graphical beauty a lot less but didnt work either.

it is stil the same the game freezes when a enemy spots me and when al of them are dead it freezes again.

And the funny thing is first i downloaded this game (everything worked just fine)

now i bought it the game of the year edition and now it doesnt :S

if anyone has a solution for me pleeeaaase :P help

I believe I read that turning the music slider down doesn't help. you need to exit the game and edit your oblivion.ini (the one in my documents/my games/oblivion), and set bMusicEnabled=0.

The readme for combat FPS optimizer also lists some of the tweaks it does to oblivion.ini, I added some of these by hand to my oblivion.ini. You could try adding them manually to see if that makes a difference.

But i do have a question left,

what mods do you think you should have while playing this wonderful game ?

I'm still trying to figure that out myself.

I found the "vanilla" oblivion kind of boring so I added Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, and that gave me a bunch of excitement. Also the vanilla user interface I think sucks horribly. So I got "Dark UI" and "Atmospheric Loading Screens for Dark UI" and ImmersiveInterface, and that makes the game so much nicer to play. I really had a problem with dark caves, when I'd pull up the bright inventory and it would blind me, but Dark UI fixed that up. "Natural Environements" makes the outdoors look much nicer. And "Illumination Within" makes cities at night look much nicer. "Callsteed" makes it so I don't lose my horse anymore :) If you like playing vampires I'd suggest Drokk's (or something similar) and the VampireFaceBugFix, the original vampire code in oblivion is just crap. There's a bunch of "Slof's Horses" mods that make the horses nicer. You can add new houses to your game, I like "Kumiko Manor", which gives you a nice big house full of everything, great no matter what your character is, but especially if you are a mage, I think it's better even than the official mod for Frostcrag Manor or other official houses. I'm just starting to try out new armor and body mods, but I really like "Kafei's Armored Circlets", which make your character look a lot better without a big bulky helmet on their head.

There's tons more.

Mods are a personal thing. what I like you might hate. For instance, I don't like OOO which many people rave about. I do like the Bag of holding which many consider a cheat. I also use a mod called The art of Rapid Depositing, by Wolfhound that enables me to quickly sort my loot into a group of containers by whatever criteria I choose. Try a mod. If you like it, keep it. If not dump it. There are a dozen new mods a day, I'm sure you will find some you like and some you don't. Just remember, its your game. Have fun.
