I don't know why I can't change that :( I'm using a bunch of different mods, recently installed Beauty pack (mystic elf) and everything (Eyes and all) is working except for the hair..any ideas? If you are using other cosmetic mods (Beautiful people, Soya hair pack etc.) make sure you DISABLE the other mods and leave Ren's running. The eyes... There is a fix for it.
