Aetar
A link to a screenshot of my game: http://i.imgur.com/n2uBq.jpg I realize that Skyrim doesn't exactly have superb graphics, however I have conferred with many of my friends currently playing and have come to the conclusion that my textures look substantially worse than anyone else that i have seen. I have tried verifying the game integrity numerous times, and three installs, as well as trying several different versions of my driver. This screenshot is take in ULTRA settings, all maxes, no FXAA. I have a AMD HD 6970 M in my laptop, and what it looks like is that some textures appear to be of much lower resolution than others, specifically character and armor textures. Building and cities look fine for the most part, but most other textures look awful. Any advice? My computer can handle BF3 on almost all ultra settings at about 50 fps, dropping to 35-40 when things get hectic, so I know my rig isn't exactly the issue :\ Edit: Best closeup I could find similar to my image:http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/379-1-1321497005.jpgThis is just a re color of the armor from someone's mod, the texture quality itself is unchanged. Werne
It's not your drivers, it's your settings. Find the graphics card settings and play around with them. If you have CCC (Catalyst Control Center) play around with it's settings. I have a much worse graphics card and my low setting looks like in your screenshot, so it's the settings. A quick search may reveal what you need. Also if you cant figure out how to do these things I might be willing to help you via remote desktop but you will need to PM me for that info. Usually there is no reason your graphics should look like that unless it is a setting that is just not set correctly or there is something wrong with the INI file, (which an integrity check will not find.) Also, just as a side note new drivers for ATI were released on the 14th with an updated profile list. (IMO its a must have) driver version 11.

Glad to hear you got it fixed.
