Ingolfson
Say, do the killed creatures bodies remain where they are forever? If so, I will have to use the 'dispose'-option on every dead mudcrab, I guess. What a bother. But after all, we shouldn't litter, should we? I like to thin k of them as signposts on my way to success. I'm particularly proud of the pile of five cliff racers and two rats i left outside the Tower of Dusk when i was at level 4. Tater
If you get lost in the Ashlands just follow the trail of dead cliff racers
Adrian Laguna
I am quite certain they disapear after several days. I always leave the bodies where they are because I am not going to carry the ingredients I get if the bodies are disposed of. There is no way I am going to leave those ingredients on the ground, they look uglier than dead bodies and definitely do not desapear.
Dijas
Loot and ingredients don't disappear, but I'm almost certain that corpses killed by our char will disappear in one or two days maximum.
Pack Rat
Same for me, I also belief they disapear after several days. Kill a guard for example and after a few days he'll be risen from the dead...

MajKrAzAm
In Bloodmoon I usually take the swords of rickilins and dump the swords on the ground, since the weapons don't dissapear it tells me that it is a spawning point for t ricklins when I see the swords. -MajKrAzAm
ShinJiOh
ok, you can use dispose of.... but there is a catch, if you do it in a dungeon that is full of sleepers, daedra and all that funky stuff and u emove the corpse. when you come back to that room they'll be alive again i tell you. Which really gets quite annoying when you retreive the item you were looking for and almost died to find it. :stupid:
Malchik
Bodies of humans and animals disappear within 2 days and anything left on them goes too. Stuff left beside them remains. If you are overencumbered just take the dwemer sword or whatever and drop it by the body. If you have rubbish you want to dispose of put it on the corpse and it goes too. 'Dispose of corpse' works on named NPCs but not on animals or the generic NPCs like guards, ordinators that respawn. If left dead on the floor they do not respawn until after the 2 days. If 'disposed of' they will respawn the moment you leave the area. As ShinJiOh has pointed out this can be a problem in somewhere like the stronghold of Falensarano where you go through a door and then have to come back the same way. (A good way to get daedra hearts and items off Golden Saints though - if you are strong enough). My advice I'm afraid. Unless desparate - litter!
