Surilindur
Some have mentioned that the Creation Kit tends to pack all sorts of resources into the bsa archive. Like modifying a vanilla base object would cause the CK to auto-pack the unmodified vanilla resources (meshes, textures, something like that) into the archive. If targeting PC, people can use an external program to build their bsa archives, and can therefore hand-pick only the necessary files, and avoid using the CK to pack the bsa archive. But since the CK is the only way to pack and upload a mod to Bethesda.net with, the issue might be there. I am not an expert, and I have not tested it myself, but that could be one potential explanation. Of course that mod (which I have never used) might have other reasons, too. If someone has more info, or a better explanation, I would also love to hear it. I do not have a current-gen console myself, but that file size difference is just ridicilous.
