Elyphaen
Hey guys, I recently uninstalled some mods from my Skyrim (SKSE) and from that point on it wouldn't load my saved games anymore. Everytime I openend one, it showed the world for half a second and then it went straight to Desktop. Also I tried opening older saves but still same result! Sadly I don't know which mod it was I uninstalled but I suspect it was db - Enhanced Blood. I have absolutely no experience with this kind of stuff so I'm glad about any advice you can give me. My load order can be seen here: http://imgur.com/YIqqRey Also I'm using NMM and LOOT and I've tried sorting my Plugins but it doesn't help... I have already uninstalled some mods that I thought were causing it and after that I ran the Reqtificator (SkyProc Patcher or whatever) for the Requiem Overhaul but that didn't do anything either. Happy about any helpful response and ask me if you need any more info to detect the problem :-). Edited August 18, 2016 by Elyphaen
Darkstyler35
Hello, Don't uninstall mods at mid-game, but using save script cleaner will remove orphan scripts and may help to load your saves. Good luck
zerther
This isnt really a fix, but it might help sometimes my save games do that. after you do a lot in the game save files just get bigger, naturally and take longer to load... add mods to that and I'm assuming that soemtimes the game cant handle it one thing i do is always have a save file that loads to some small cell, mine is heimskrs house when he's not home. coc whiterunheimskrshouse... skyrim has an easier time loading a save if certain game data has loaded already. so if you load up your save in heimskrs house, chances are your actual save game will load perfectly. I do this whenever my saves frequently crash.

Good luckOkey I didn't know that :(. Is save script cleaner save to use though? Or does it delete content in my save? As I said I'm a total noob with this stuff :D
Darkstyler35
It will remove orphan scripts from uninstalled mods in your savegame, read the "don't uninstall mods" and you'll understand why.
Elyphaen
Alright so I tried cleaning my master files (all 3 DLCs + my update.esm) but it's still not working although LOOT doesn't give me the warnings any more so it says they're all clean. Also I tried using Wrye Smash to check which Masters were active in my save and installed/activated all mods that were included in my saves (also the same load order). But that didn't help either . I guess that means my saves are unusable now which kinda sucks. But if anyone still has even the slightest idea of what might fix it please help :-) !!! Oh and my latest saves all show the "content is missing" notification (or whatever it says exactly I mean the one by Bethesda) but there is one older one which doesn't show that note but even the older one crashes rigth after loading. Edit: Some people online also suggested using the Papyrus log which might help finding the error but I don't have any clue how to read that. The last scripts it tried to load were 'dlc1vampireturnscript' and 'MakeAliasesEyesRed'. In my latest save I was just in Morthal doing the vampire quest but I don't know if it has to do with the CTD (I wouldn't know why though because the older save have the log without any vampire stuff) Edited August 18, 2016 by Elyphaen
