LazerusKI
Back in Fo1 and Fo2 the Plasma weapons were only melting the flesh, not the bones. at around 2:08 There was even a Fo3 mod for that So...now that we have actual human remains, bones that we can use for crafting...would it be possible to bring that back?Basically when an enemy dies through Plasma (or maybe even Laser) that it spawns them as an actual human skeleton that will then collapse? For small critters (Cats, Dogs, Rats, Insects etc) it could stay like it is, lorewise the energy would be enough to fully melt them.
ASilvermane
I've actually tried to tinker with the gooify special effect to do just that, spawn a lootable skeleton after the person starts melting instead of a goo pile. I'd post my results but sadly I only did it as a test to see what it'd look like (and to be honest it didn't look all that great) and without a filter it spawns a human skeleton for any creature melted, humanoid or not. I also found spawning in a skeleton that way was pretty glitchy as sometimes it goes flying off into space after spawning rather then falling down neatly or wouldn't be lootable every time. But yeah it is possible, but it'd require creating a new actor filter script so that only actors with that filter would spawn a skeleton and it'd have to be applied to every killable npc in the game.
