grimfeather
just wondering how many people do this or is everyone sticking to light
amycus
Sneaking is quite powerful, so I actually give it to all my characters to at least some extent. Also, I think that there was a quest that gave you ebony armor with a sneak enhancement. Don't remember the name of the quest, but it involved sacrifacing your follower among other things... ItsPM
sneak is an important skill to build with every character. especially so with the quality perks it affords.
grimfeather
the reason im asking is im making a sneaky mage who uses a magic in 1h and either a staff or magic in the other
ItsPM
i find that staffs are better utilized as crutches (that is, a 'pull them out if you're out of magicka' kind of weapon), and have always dualed my spells and changing to my enchanted bow when i felt i needed to. point is dual your spells or use real weapons. grimfeather
i suppose dualing my spells would work similar maybe pull out daggers if i need someone to die quiet
amycus
as a mage sneak is still useful, except maybe for the destruction tree. But a mage with focus on conjuration for example can just hide in a corner and summon creatures to do the job for him. If your sneak is high enough the "sneakeye" will only be half open for a second before it closes again. Of course, this isn't always very fun in the long run.
