Rennn
Yeah... I'm bored, and I can mod textures in Skyrim using Gimp. Any experienced modder could probably outdo me, but if you have no modding ability at all and would like me to edit a texture, I'm taking requests. If I don't find it appealing for personal use, I probably won't do it. This is for retexture requests only; I can't make any geometry because practically nobody can make meshes yet. So yeah. Maybe I'll take some requests.
Elkatar
A retexture with more detail in colorful parts of plants like flowers or some leaves would be cool. For the ones that have noticeably dull textures up close in vanilla. Yeah there is some color in the game like in some flowers. Anywhere you see a plant with some color in it would be ok. Or even if not that colorful if you could redo some of the plants/flowers and add color along with more detail maybe. I hope that doesn’t require going into the geometry to do that. xaliqen
Better lanterns would be great, since they're everywhere. Shop signs with dramatic normal maps would also make a pretty big difference.
Terralventhe
I have this one retexture for the horse04.dds but I have no idea how to save it properly (whenever I do the once fluent/flowing hair of the horse became stiff and plank-link and only hung to the one side). Particularly this is a Shadowmere retexture (who for some reason or another shares the same textures as a regular stable horse rather than being its own individual horse-type). Anyways, if you could perhaps make the mane itself more black or make the fiery lava veins somehow more glowy as well as saving it properly, that'd be great:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Terralventhe/nightmare_text.png

I could possibly do this, but have you seen the Lush Plant Texture mod? It may be what you're looking for. If not, respond again to let me know. Some of the plant textures, expecially the tundra grasses, looked pretty bad to me so I wouldn't mind doing this if you decide you don't like the Lush Plant Texture Pack. Rennn
I won't replace signs because that would be very tedious, and because I'm sure somebody else will do that soon enough. @Terralventhe:I doubt I'll be much help with that. I'm not certain why the hair would turn stiff :/
Terralventhe
I imagine it's because when it asks for what format to save the .dds file in, I'm probably picking the wrong thing. Again, I have little to no idea how to properly save a .dds file, hence why I'm bringin' it to you.

The Better Retextures, NifSkope Alchemy, Reskinning Rudiments, Texture Replacer/Tutorial, Normal Maps Basics, Retex Guide, Creating Detailed Normal Maps and Retex Troubleshooting guides all contain useful info. Some of the info is rudimentary, but I'd just skim through and see what's relevant for your project. Edited November 20, 2011 by xaliqen
Aluminumfoil
I request normal maps for candles that give them some texture and shape, rather than looking like they have since Oblivion. I tried myself, but I'm very new at texturing, and I ended up with a jagged, ugly effect on the melted-wax bases that droop over the candle holder.
