SupaFlea
Since playing Skyrim ive had the urge to watch several sword weilding movies such as 13th Warrior and King Arthur.1 thing I realised that I would love is the ability to have longswords sheathed on a players back. I have always thought the two handed weapons were always really oversized and never done right any any game, in DA they are stupidly oversized but in ES they somewhat smaller. I know diddly squat about modding but thought it migh be simply a matter of selectivly changing the single sword animation to the two handed one but the problem maybe having both waist animation and back animation on the same items. doddibot
Are they actually oversized? Medieval greatswords and claymores were ~120cm and ~140cm long (respectively), in a period when the average human height was only about 160-170cm. Before posting this, I just dropped a greatsword next to a corpse and it looked about right to me.
SupaFlea
Well not so much over sized as in the wrong size, I was more or less taking in to account the average size of a sword which is usually weilded with 2 hands. I confess I am going by movie weapons. such as say Aragorns Sword primary held with 2 hands but also short enough and light enough to be held with 1 hand. I guess its more a matter of personal prefference on fighting stance etc rather than the sword itself. Gimli's battle axe, the Kull The Conquerer's battle axe were reasonably short also. doddibot
Aragorn's sword Narsil is probably just a longsword, or maybe a bastard sword. Gimli's axe is short because he's short :P

Gimli's axe is short because he's short :P nerd correction  Narsil was the sword before it was broken. After it was reforged in the first LOTR book ( yes the movie got it wrong) Argaorn called it Anduril, Flame of the West forged from the shards of Narsil. also i think of Aragon's sword as a hand and a half sword. useful for both two handed and one handed attacks.
Fagros
Will be better if both sword for dual wielders will be visibla at sides of character, not only one like now.
kitsuneshoujo
I actually like the look of dual swords on the back rather than the hips. Axes and knives and maces can stay on the hips though... who would want mace heads banging them in the kidneys when running? lol Knives are too small, and axes dont have sheathes.
