Can you replace the Fallout 4 battle music with the Doom (2016) battle music?

Mic Gordon's Soundtrack is so hype. And the music in Fallout 4... isn't as hype. Can somebody please fix this?

 

Can you also randomize so that every firefight queues a different track from the different levels in Doom?

You'd have to learn to do it yourself, anyone uploading that would be banned for copyright violation.

Is there any .wav files I can replace or something? I just need somebody to point me in the right direction on how to do this. I don't think it can be that complicated.

The nexus mods page is down for maintenance so I can't get you the links, however...

 

Get your hands on the utility Bethesda Archive Extractor or BAE for Fallout 4.

Extract the files in the sound directory.

Replace the sound files that you want to replace with identically named sound files with the new music you want.

... optional: You may need to convert the file format if the files you have are a different sort.

Put the new files in your fallout 4/data directory, mimicking the same structure of directories that you had in the archive (BAE will automatically keep this structure for you).

You'd have to convert any audio file you want to use (.mp3 or .wav) into .xwm format before putting it into the game (using the same filename as the music you'd want to replace, and placed in the same directory) There are plenty of converters available on the Nexus. Look for Skyrim Audio Converter (it's in the Skyrim section of the site, but you can use it for Fallout 4/3/NV) it's easy to use.
