[Issue] Why hasn't this problem been fixed?

The Creation Kit has been out for a while now. But the thing that irritates me the most is that despite the updates, the property modifier crash still hasn't been fixed. I've been trying to follow a tutorial on Youtube which says to create quest stages. But whenever I create a quest stage, boom, it crashes.

Creating mods is impossible for me to do currently. Does anyone have a solution?

I've already tried the compatibility mode and run as administrator fixes with no luck.

Why does collision automatic navmesh crash? Why does it crash on exit? Why does it display 600+ errors when loading the base game plugin?

That's right.

God how I loathe that error box with all my dried up little heart...

You can customize the warnings so that you only see the errors in the currently loaded file.

To do that load a file into the CK and then click on the box with the "..." in the upper right hand corner of the warnings window. Another window pops up and you can hide/unhide the different categories of warnings. If you hide everything but <CURRENT>, give it a name and save it you can use that filter for warnings and when doing so should only get warnings for the currently loaded file. Mine shows a couple of errors from categories I've hidden, but since it's less then ten errors it doesn't bother me. This allows you to see errors in the currently loaded file, which the CK will generate, without those hundreds of useless vanilla errors.

Many thanks llama. May your children be rich and have superpowers.

I found a few things that can trigger crashes in CK.

- running FRAPS in the background.

- loading a bad mesh.

- creating backup folders under data/scripts/source instead of leaving the folder structure purely vanilla.

- opening Gameplay->Facial Animations.

- closing the damn program.

Apart from that, it's been very stable.

I guess there's a reason why it is BETA :|

I still haven't updated it from the day one release because apparently the latest version has problems running in Australia. I'm not sure if that would affect me or not, but I haven't been willing to take the risk.

Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for them making the program and releasing it but yeah I can't deny that it's got some real problems.

Also thanks LlamaRCA I didn't know about that option.

Thanks for that. Good job. =)
