Matth85
Summon 2 Dadreic Lords, watch the giant die in less than a minute. Repeat forever, since the mana cost of 2 dadreic lords is low. Yeah, mages are overpowered >.<
Raddra
Standing tow to tow with one is a bad idea, you have to think. They are big and clumsy, they are very restricted by the environment. Use that to your advantage. You might see 'rocky slope' the giant see's 'no go area without falling off and breaking its neck' You might see 'cool, a copse of tree's' the giant see's 'no entry zone'
frakle
backpedal with flames/frostbite/sparks/similar spell and cast for a while. hop over a fence, hit him with some magic, when he gets close, hop again. that's how i killed one at level 7 pure mage or quickly strafe left and right while you're hitting him, and he can't react so he follows you and gets to where you were just as you start moving again. this obviously requires melee weapons, but i would probably save before trying this in case you mess up
