Texture glitch problem

Hi I have been updating skyrim with all the new higher quality textures that keep being released and now of late, when I enter certain areas like rooms, and castles, there is a lot of missing textures, invisible walls, strange texture glitches etc. But when I am in the open world everything is fine. Characters seems to be fine also. This only started happening today and I have been using newer textures since last week.

Any1 know why this is happening? too many high res textures now? Texture files duplicated? memory usage issue?

My specs:

i5-750 @ 3.6 GHz

2x2GB Ripjaws @ 1440 MHz

GTX 580 Superclocked (285.79 drivers)

Windows 7 x64

This also happend in Oblivion a long time ago on a different rig.

Do you mind being a bit more specific? I recall having a weird texture glitch in Fallout 3, when textures would leak from one mesh to another, only happened a few times and always in an interior space... never found out the cause.

What are your Anti-Aliasing settings? And have you used any tools like NvidiaInspector or the ATI/Nvidia Control Panels to alter how Anti-Aliasing is applied? The game has problems with certain types of Anti-Aliasing causing flickering/invisible textures is why I ask.

ok fixed this problem

it seems that a few of the texture mods I was using was way too large, I think over 4x the original size, and the file size for some of these texture was like 16MB for just one texture, so when I changed to a lower version texture (same author had a lower size texture also) it took away the invisible texture problem.
