afx777
Hi people Just a few quick ideas for mods; I wish my horse would not attack in combat, so a mod to either stop it attack or maybe make immune to attacks would be nice (or enemies ignore it completely). A mod to find out where my horse is when it runs away after combat, or maybe blow a whistle sound so it comes to your location? Quicker dismount from horse when in combat, it feels too slow when attacked... would be nice to able to jump off the horse and attack instantly! Footprints in the snow and other terrain. Breath from mouth of character and NPCs in cold climates. Dialogue options in conversations - Change the colours from dark grey and light grey to a more vibrant colour.More obvious indication of power and shout cool downs on screen. Werewolf ability to loot, sneak and pounce from a distance. Ability to ride a mammoth? I have done a search so I apologise if the suggestions above have already been mentioned or there are mods in the making (please point me to a link if there are). All the best, afx. nandchan
I remember 2. from Oblivion, should be easy to implement in Skyrim - it just placed a quest tracker on your horse. I would absolutely love 4 and 5 but I'm not sure how easy/hard they'd be to implement, engine-wise. If forced to pick, I'd prefer 5. darthsloth74
I agree suggestion 5 would really add to immersion. Also I'm in favour of the horse mods too. The auto attack is stupidly annoying and finding the horse after it finally realises it can't take on a dragon and runs away is a real pain. jpro6
I'd love it if someone could make a mod to stop the horse auto attacking, and make enemies ignore the horse once I've dismounted it, or at least make it run to a safe distance, or even just mark it essential. I am going to look into making such a mod myself but I don't have much experience with mods and have never modded a Bethesda game so probably won't have much luck. If anyone else knows how to do this it would be great.
jpro6
I've now made a mod which makes horses essential so they don't die, as I haven't yet figured out how to stop them attacking. The mod is here http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1248

jpro6
I have finally completed a mod to stop horses auto-attacking: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1522 It is called "Cowardly horses". If you dismount while being attacked your horse should run to a safe distance. You can also make horses essential so they don't die using this mod. FireBug3
I have finally completed a mod to stop horses auto-attacking: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1522 it is better to make it attack but only if the horse is being attacked, because looking for it everytime is not a good idea. argazedon
It is better a simple console code:SetAV "horseID" confidence 2 Value 2 is better than 1 because the horse is not escaping too far.
