How to create a settlement that can accept settlers?

the parent quest have the workshopaddlocation build in(its the part where you enter your (workshop)(location), you only need the quest nothing else is need and or need to add

So I just have to duplicate the automatron quest and I can skip the script settings?

Works now, duplicated DLC01WorkshopParent. Do I still need the old non-dlc WorkshopParentQuestSETTLEMENTNAME?

no you can trow away that 1, i have deleted that quest from the esp you dl from me(i gave the new quest the same name you used)

 

normal use is duplicate the quest change the name, set you location first tab and then under workshop/bench thats all you need to do, keep in mind if you make any mistake the first time you open the workbench and it don't show 50% it means it don't work like intended

 

ow and thanks for giving credits not realy needed but nice

 

also the first time is always a pain, but when you know how to do it its easy, i spend more time to set(build) up stuff then getting the settlement part to work that take me only like 5-10 min, and in a cell/interior i just drop npc's with a workshopnpc script so i can send/use then when i want
