[Mod Request] The Warble of a Smitten Knight; Horse race

Hi guys

 

I think the topic's title explains everything

I cant beat horse race in this quest. Is there possible to help me with a small mod (or a command in Devs console, something like winGwint(true))? Like bigger (or better infinite) starting time, or more time per shot etc?

 

I do not know much about W3 modding, but (I hope so at least) it is a small change, and easy for somebody who knows how to mod things

 

If anybody can help me with this quest, I would be very grateful

 

Yes, I know this is blatant cheating, but I am fed up with this quest...

However if you're absolutely stuck on it and don't want to wait around: Have you tried the perk that slows down time further for crossbow aim? And the second shot perk to fire two bolts before reloading? The dummies on the ground can also be hit with just tapping the crossbow fire button as auto aim usually gets them. Just line up the camera with the dummy and the crossbow should just auto target the dummy (don't hold crossbow button down to aim for the dummies). The time slow perk when maxed out should make hitting the hanging targets very easy - just use a potion of clearance so you can use those skills to get the race out of the way. You can use slow down time feature from PhotoMode mod which turns this quest to an easy run :smile:

I know I'm replying very, very late to this but if you're not horribly averse to using Cheat Engine there is a table out there that has an option to modify and/or freeze the time you have left in any of the 'countdown timer' missions. Do a Google search for "witcher 3 cheat engine time remained" and you'll find it. Can't verify if it works for every version but I just used it for GOG GOTY 1.31 to freeze the timer for a certain other "timed" quest (you know the one, where a bit more's at stake than a racing trophy) just so that I could check out all the possible interesting sights in said quest without worrying about the timer running out. Use this and you should be able to leisurely trot your way through the entire race without bothering with a single dummy or target.
