Vampire mod

I'd love some help with our vampires.

 

For instance, we shouldn't need to breathe underwater as we no longer breathe. :)

 

But mostly, though it is an interesting challenge to manage levels 1 - 4 we should get stronger from drinking (the traditional way) rather than how the game has it.

 

Any chance of this please?

Yes I agree, swap around how blood works - the more you drink the stronger you are (although hopefully better then just feeding once makes you super strong, thats just silly, you should have to feed constantly for a long time to become much stronger), and also no need to breath underwater would be awesome.

 

One more thing, I'm not sure if this is so common in older Vampire tales, but I would really love no fall damage... as I have said in a few other posts... :D

I agree, you should become more powerful the more you feed.

At the lowest levels you shouldn't be able to be outside in sunlight because you'll die, and at the second level you take damage slowly. But at level three, once you've fed you can stand the sunlight for quite some time, but you get weak and lose your vampiric powers, becoming no more powerful than an ordinary human. Even less powerful since your wounds don't heal and you grow tired easily.

 

We also need to be able to sleep in coffins and not get rested otherwise, because that's sort of their thing.

 

And then there are the basics, higher jumping, no falling damage, less damage from attacks, (after all, your body is dead) stronger unarmed attacks etc. etc.

Would be nice to be able to create a ghoul too, by feeding your blood to a living person, giving them some of your innate abilities like strength, speed, regeneration etc. but to a lesser extent.

 

And of course, bounties and such for displaying your superhuman abilities.

Because you musn't break the masquerade. :D

I'll certainly give this a try when we get access to the Creation Kit. I won't promise anything, but I can manage at least a basic mod with what you guys are asking.

Sunlight should kill you anyway, your level should only determine the time that you can stand in the sun until it kills you - say 10 seconds (ergo it will kill you eventually, even if you're of maximum level). There should be an artifact which will enable you to walk in the sun - an extremely rare one (like a ring or something). Vampire must fight physically, not with some bs magic, like punching/ripping motions with their arms, and should drain health by feeding, physically (biting/drinking blood). Vampires should be able to feed independently of a character's state (sleeping/e.t.c) - also, when they get someone to a low enough health, they should be able to finish them off by feeding on them. They also should receive physical stat boosts, like traditional vampires in folklore - like supernatural physical strength, blinding speed, extreme regenerative powers.

 

To balance this off, they need to be almost fatally (but never actually lethally) weakened by some plants (say, introduce verbane/verbena), should burn (die) in the sun in a matter of seconds (no matter for their level, if they're not wearing some artifact) and should be able to get staked (weakness to wood). There should be a join-able faction/guild of monster (vampire/werewolf) hunters that will, of course, hunt the vampires and do so effectively - ergo having some skills/powers/active effects/items (stakes, garlic, verbane e.t.c.).

 

Also, werewolves and vampires should be arch-enemies and werewolves, obviously, need to be on par with vampires.
