CTS loading saves.

I have read and tried numerous fixes. Downloaded sever fixes. Tried save cleaner method as well. Norhing has fixed the problem. I have spent weeks experimenting turning off and/or uninstalling mods/plugins can't seem to find the issue! Any other ideas besides those posted to try? read the pinned topics next time we need more detail like your system specs and load order. Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that your save is corrupt beyond repair and move on. Sometimes it can be something like a quick registry fix, we cant help unless we know your details

How can I put my load order into a note pad to copy and paste?

And by specs you mean OS, card, mem, etc?

Yeah those are your specs, and for load order, what do you use for your mods, NMM, MO, something else? or do you manually install everything? If you have LOOT theres an option to copy the load order if not let me know and ill tell you how

I use NMM. And what ever I had done up till now fixed part of the issue. New game loads so many mods then stops. I can load that save but any save after starting that save and letting the remainder of the mods load ctd after a long load.

 

Also error message FNIS_SexLab_List.txt is not installed animations of mod wont be added in the FNIS list and won't work in game before install through wyte bash brain you should choose override skips option for archive of this mod in the installers tab. Problem is I installed via NMM. Any ideas how to fix this while I'm at it? Lol

Only 4 gigs? You might be running out of actual RAM, check the task manager, open it before running skyrim and let me know the ram usage and pagefile usage, also pagefile drive.

 

For FNIS, go to your skyrim data folder and look for something FNIS related(cant remember exactly) but you need to run the GenerateFNIS program to make it work. Have at look at the FNIS page for details.

 

And yeah thats a lot of mods, I suggest using LOOT to order them, then making a bashed patch with Wrye bash.

 

Also, did you mess with any .ini files? or any files at all? sometimes the .ini files get messed up (happened to me a lot of times). If you use SKSE, delete the ones in your "Documents\games\skyrim" and run the launcher to make new default ones, unless you made edits and wish to keep them. If you made your own edits, make note of what they are and let the game make new ones for you anyway by deleting the .inis, and putting your edits back in, then right click skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini and go to properties to set both to 'read-only". this will avoid them being changed by the game itself or by other programs. that alone has saved me much trouble.

if that doesnt work, you can try a program called CCleaner, and check the registry for errors (its simple and you can figure it out easily, nice simple GUI). Fix any and all errors, but save a backup before doing so (it should ask you if you want to save a backup).

if that doesnt work, try the bulk mod test method. disable the last half of your mods and see if it CTDs. if not, reenable them, disable the second half, see if it still CTDs. keep doing this until you narrow it down to a mod conflict, if any at all.

39-46% memory usage 7-15% CPU, 0-5% Disk 0% network . did several tests and the usage values ranged between that range!

• If you have uninstalled mods at mid-game, there are no real clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts.
• CTDs upon hitting "load game".

 

If what the other users tell above simply don't work : sometimes nothing works because saves can't be cleaned without advanced knowledge or are simply beyond all hope of repair. If it seems to you you have tried everything, I suggest you start a new game and follow an efficient modding guide to build a stable game.

  Start Tes5edit, simply untick everything, (right-click/select none) and add only a tick to the esm/esp you want to check + update.esm, Tesedit knows what to do and will load all the dependencies automatically.
  - Begin with loading only Skyrim + update, ITM / UDR + save ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Dawnguard, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Hearthfire, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
  - Then load Skyrim + update + Dragonborn, ITM / UDR + ctrl +s and close.
• The method above can be used to clean mods. LOOT should tells you which plugin you should clean.

• Create a merged patch with Tesedit excluding leveled lists
