Fallout 3 Video Card Problems

First thanks for everyone who takes a look.

This is my issue. I searched the site, then asked in chat. I have a new laptop. I have been playing Fallout 3 on my PS3 for a long time. I wanted to play it on my laptop. I got the Game Of The Year Edition. I installed it and it would start up. But then it would lock up and fail. It says its the video card. I have looked at everything including the companys website for the maker of the laptop. It seems the problem is with the game. It has to have a "Dedicated Video Card". This means the card cant be part of the motherboard for the computer. Mine is an "Intergrated Card". Meaning its built to the motherboard. It cant be upgraded. It is twice what is needed to run the game however the game searches for a list of supported cards. None of the built to the motherboard cards are on that list. Is there a way to make the game see my video card as one thats supported ? I have even looked into the devices that plug into a laptop and have a video card in them. They run hundreds of dollars and you still need to put the card in them. My laptop can run the game fine if the game would read the card. Is there a file or something that I can download ?

Thanks again for anything that can help. I cant use any of the Mods or do anything with the game if I cant play it. I build Mods all the time and I want to build ones for Fallout 3 if I can get it to run.

Does it give you the "Failed to initialize renderer. Hardware T&L required but not supported by Adapter" error? If that's the case, you need a dedicated graphics card. you can buy a laptop adaptor for a PC graphics card for about 20$ (the price is converted from croatian currency, so it might not be correct). You can also search the ebay for the adaptor and the card. you can find cheap stuff there, I bought all my computer components off ebay for 45$. Edited by Werne

That sounds like it. I know its the fact that I need a dedicated card not my built to the motherboard one. I was wondering if there was a file to make it think it was a dedicated card. I found a youtube video showing a file. it was a ".dll" file. I tried it but it still didnt work. I think I will have to get a box that plugs into my laptop to play it. It just stinks that I have tons of power and the game just wont see the video card.

Thanks for the response.
