Fallout 4 Mod variety

I just kinda wanted the community input on my curiosity. So lately I have been going back to Fallout 3 and NV updating older mods making sure everything works (since I run 100 mods minimum ) and such then I get to fallout 4. The mods for the guns and such that I downloaded have been great and no real issues aside from FPS drops which are expected. But then I see mods like AWOP and Tale of Two wastelands and Project Nevada then I think, "are there gonna be any mods like that for fallout 4?" I hear such mixed things about the game from dialogue issues to dlc being needless or useless to dlc being plagiarized from a previous mod and the map being way to small compared to NV and Fallout 3 (which I agree its a smaller map with a lot of "rabbit holes"). I don't really roam around the forums at all but was kinda wondering what you guys know? I think fallout 4 is the best one for mods because frankly I'm tired of the older graphics of fallout 3 and NV and those retexture mods while great don't cut it for me like the graphics of fallout 4.

Edit: Is there like a wait until all the DLCs are released before any major overhaul mods begin?

You are right friend just abit impatient haha. I just see so much negativity in the game that I am i guess nervous for lack of better words in regards to the fact that I know people won't drop FO4 but rather just leave with stuff that doesn't fully push the game to its potential. That's kinda what I feel like modders do anyway. They addon what devs didn't think or could do and push the game to what it should/ could be.

Correction: "They addon what devs didn't think or bother to do and push the game to what it could/ shoulx be."

But that's an entire different can of genetically engineered soldier monkeys.

Look up the original mods that came out for Skyrim. They were nothing compared to what is out today. Also HDT didnt come out until very recently as well. So it all takes time.

It can take a bit of time to get there. The Creation Kit was only released in late April, F4SE is still in alpha testing, Animation's just starting to be properly explored now and everyone's still getting the hang of modding the new engine. The people who'd be most ready to make a Fallout 4 mod right out of the gate are the Skyrim modders and if they're even interested in FO4 they'll still probably be dividing their time with Skyrim whereas new modders like me are still learning everything we need to know to start making complex large mods.

There will be some but it will take a bit of time. After the DLC is all released is a much easier time to mod because you're not building on a foundation that changes every few weeks, I won't say you'll have to wait that long but it'll be a point where things change a bit and you'll probably see a lot more involved mods after all the DLC are done.

Experienced Fallout modders were ready to go day one as well.

There's just fewer of us than there are skyrim modders :( figuring out the new system has been painful. Hell just trying to eddit the recoil and range of a weapon is much different than it used to be.
