Quest-Forge

Hey everyone!

just advertising a new modding team/project, called Quest-Forge.

It makes quests, for Cyrodiil, and any other modder-created world that signs up.

These quests have no 'theme', they are side-quests, of any style, to give us gamers something to do/kill/find/open a can of ownage on.

 

Quest-Forge's 'system' is ver original and very efficient:

 

This is how a quest for Cyrodiil would get made:

 

Someone post an ieda for a quest in the 'new quest ideas' thread, and after there's a basic-medium understanding of the quest, it will get it's own forum.

Sub-forums are then made for what would usually (on a team-mod's forum) be in sections: writing, modelling, world-bulding, concept art etc. etc.

 

That would all be done in Cyrodiil's Quest-Forge (section of the forum).

Now an example of a modder-created world:

 

let's imagine a large new world mod was finished, say Undernethe:

once Undernethe is complete, the team could then sign up, and have their own 'Undernethe Quest-Forge' section of the forum, that works in the exact same way as Cyrodiil's.

 

Now mini-quests: if you have an idea for a VERY SMALL quest, then finalize all the writing/ideas for it, and post it in the correct thread, and someone can choose to make it. Since mini-quests aren't large enough to justify a single release, once enough are made, they will then be compilated in 'quest packs' which can be downloaded, and will give the player some random quests to do.

 

So if you are a modder (ver-active or just casual) then come down and help make some quests, or mini-quests, and if you have an idea for a quest, even if it's small, come down and submit it!

 

The Quest-Forge is in it's very early stages, so come down and help create a great comunity!

Well I'm glad someone actually tried to click on the link! XD

It's in very early stages, but because of the way we work (and Cerberus's backing) the worst case senario is we don't release as many mods as we'd want to...for a while =)

If you're not really going to be very active, don't worry, most of the jobs will be very easy, due to the size of the quests.
