Hair issue

So recently I have been making a mod for personal use where I combine a bunch of race mods together (as I am a big fan of race mods and variety but also dont want to have a bunch of mods selected just for one race to be available.)

So I have been having trouble with my hairs, (and I hope that nif scope isnt the option to be honest as I have it but the whole thing is just confusing to me) Here is what I get the majority of the time when I try to use a hair meshe from another mod.

 

Please I would love some help with this.

Oh well the mod there is the dread lock mod. That is the only hair mod I have so far, due to a computer issue a bunch of other hairs were lost. But the result was the same. I unpacked a BSA to get the meshes and textures.

ok, well, from the first instance about that mod, it's packed with a sub folder "data" and what is used to unpcak it on your end?

 

EDIT: example as follows, this is just saying that this might be why some things went nuts. "might have"

Will most likely be incompatible with mods that change races (ie. most hairpacks out there). You may need to merge mods or create a merged patch.

The hair mesh has a few gaps where you can see the head skin. You will only notice them from certain perspectives though.

EGM files are not included, this means the hair will not fit on the head properly, which may result in clippings or gaps. If it doesnt fit on your character, use Nifskope to adjust the position, make sure to use transform->apply before saving.

this might be where the issues lay too, I need to know what those are as well, so far incomplete list.

 

The hats in the nif's can go Bye Bye as well, not needed.

7-zip is what i used to unpack the mod at first than use fallout mod manager. However its not only the dreadlocks mod that this happens in. Mojave delight, and mitikos are two other examples.

provide me with the links to the exact pieces you downloaded, right click on the package name on the nexus download page and copy link.

 

Post those here for me to obtain quickly and i'll try all I can to sort out your issue.

scratch that, "Mojave delight" is an adult mod and I did not know that.

 

Other than skinny which i won't use, have you used anything else in combination with this assembly as the mods seem to have a staircase of dependencies, ports and things from Fo3 too.

 

I have all the data here, I just need to know the exact mods names. The plugin packages so I can inspect them.

Okay, well the point of my mod is that I dont need to depend on the other mods to use them. Otherwise I would just use the hair mod itself and edit it the way I am making my own race mod. I dont want to depend on another mod to use a race, hence why I am combining them all togeter (or at least the ones I want)

ok , be careful of format types, not all mod authors do things the same way so conflicts are bound to show up.

 

FCO, that's a pro built mod, if you obtain the content and view how the hair was made, you will find no hats in it. Heads are the base and are not combined.

 

Styles can be said are abundant in design from one mod to another.

 

Race mods /character things are very difficult to get right.

IF you wish? I can post a few shots here showing the differences of your picks?
