A curious question

That Spell or Shout that Bethesda showed in the Demo to guide the Player out of a Cave, is it in the Game and is it a Shout or a Spell.

Does the Spell work with Destination Marks, because i find Undiscovered Locations hard to get to when i scale the side of the Mountain for 5 minutes long.

Are there Night Eye or Life Dection Amulets/Helmets.

Why is Bethesda taking the fun away, we cant even create Spells. nomore

Havn't found Nighteye, but there are detection spells if you have your Illusion (I think) skill high enough.

And yep, they did drop the ball quite significantly in regards to some spell effects and magic in general. Loss of spell making wouldn't be so bad it they had a larger variety of spells that you can learn using all of the available spell effects. The omission of the open locks line of spells is one of them. As is the fact that none of the calm/fear spells get high enough to be useful... Still, even with perks, since they cap out at like level 27 when the mean level for a fully skilled player is somewhere around 70.

Will have to wait for mods to fix this. Hopefully.

Nighteye is there, and there is even a shout that helps to detect life. I for one never found much sense in creating spells in oblivion since the spells are all the same. at least in Skyrim the spells are unique.

Im done with the Dark Brotherhood so to speak, but am i now constantly gonna hear the Voice of the Night Mother as in being Forced to do Contracts.
didnt happen to me you are not forced to make the contracts. and i only hear her voice when i aproach her to get a new contract. Edited by knightofheaven

That spell is a lifesaver (or at least time saver) for someone who often get hopelessly lost like mine (in real life too! Just had very poor sense of direction) Unfortunately sometimes it didn't work, it would say "can't find a path to the destination" or something. But it works often enough to be quite useful.
