Can interior light levels be changed?

Hi!

For some reason I've just arrived at Castle Chorrol intending to visit the Countess and OMG the light level in the castle is very bright indeed! So much so that facial features can barely be seen in the glare. I've noticed some other areas of Oblivion to be very bright especially in the mornings.

Can the light levels for different interiors and for different times of the day be changed so my eyes don't get such a shock once the loading screen whisks me into such places?

I've used the CS for a while now but the only entries I could find were fTorchlightlevelinterior, fTorchlightlevelmorning and fTorchlightlevelnight, none of which seemed to affect this problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The in game gamma setting is at it's lowest anyway plus my monitor has been adjusted to try and help also. The brightness isn't constant as it's only in the mornings and during the day that it's unbearable. I would imagine it must be possible to alter it in the CS.

Any suggestions welcome.

If you're using HDR lighting, this is a known issue with some cards. You'll need to tweak some ini settings to fix it. (can't find the guide) It has something to do with contrast and specular levels.
